Michael J. Weinfeld, Principal

Michael J. WeinfeldMichael Weinfeld is a principal of Kittredge Properties and oversees the company’s acquisition, financing, leasing and management activities. Prior to founding Kittredge Properties, Michael gained eight years of commercial real estate experience at Colliers Pinkard, a leading full service commercial real estate firm within the mid-Atlantic region. He was a vice president within Colliers Pinkard’s brokerage group with a focus on the representation of corporate clients and institutional real estate investors. While at Colliers Pinkard, he earned his Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation and was a two-time CoStar Power Broker Award winner.

Before joining Colliers Pinkard, Michael developed his financial and analytical skills during his five year tenure as an underwriting analyst within the commercial/corporate lending division of First Union National Bank. In that capacity, he participated in all aspects of the lending process and focused on structuring business and real estate loans.

Michael graduated cum laude from Washington & Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He has served as president of the Gilman School Alumni Association, chairman of the Gilman School Annual Giving Campaign and parent co-chair of the Bryn Mawr School Annual Giving Campaign. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Gilman School and Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust (B.E.S.T.).

Sonya S. Weinfeld, Principal

Sonya S. WeinfeldSonya Weinfeld is a principal of Kittredge Properties and she manages the company’s multi-family division and serves in an advisory capacity for all of its acquisitions.

Sonya has gained valuable real estate acquisition, development, renovation and management experience through her active involvement as a member of both AFRE, LLC and Pepper Properties, LLC. Each of these real estate holding companies oversees multi-million dollar commercial and residential real estate portfolios.

Additionally, as an active member of the fourth generation of ownership of a privately-held medical instruments manufacturing company, Sonya has been exposed to and dealt with a wide variety of complex business and management issues. Prior to becoming a full-time mother to her three children, Sonya was a primary school teacher and a lacrosse coach at Park School in Baltimore.

Sonya graduated from Washington & Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology. She has served as a director for The Allyn Foundation and as parent co-chair of the Bryn Mawr School Annual Giving Campaign. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Family Tree.
